Turn it about 45 degrees counter clockwise. EDIT: sorry, misread your question. No idea.

Turn it about 45 degrees counter clockwise. EDIT: sorry, misread your question. No idea. Counter clockwise is correct. I just pushed in a little and turned it CC. If it went in upside down the contactor can get stuck and then it was turn it really hard and I ordered a new contactor (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif) @Cvrguy |

I have the batwing separated from the wheel, I am asking about removing the rubber from the batwing so that I can get it BS blasted and powder coated before reassembly.

Heat gun on the back side to melt the adhesive then should just push out.

I have the batwing separated from the wheel, I am asking about removing the rubber from the batwing so that I can get it BS blasted and powder coated before reassembly. I would recommend using Winzer, SEM, or some other brand of trim paint as the powder coating may be too thick and you may lose the detail of the small horizontal ridges on the batwing, unless that doesn't bother you. |
