Good afternoon.

I have a new Dansk gas tank (installed) for the pumpkin (1970 4 cyc). Got it installed and plumbed, ready to put evap chamber (I think that what it is called, goes around filler neck.) The damn thing won't fit. Seems brackets on tank are not right! I have attached a couple of pic.

Any thoughts or ideas about what to do to get it installed?

Thanks

I have read that some where on this forum.

My question is I guess is how the heck to fix it.

I am not a metal fabricator or welder. I do have a friend that can help me just need to know what to do to it.

Thanks
