love the factory ones on a six or a 356, but yes HATE them on a four cylinder 914! (hate with a capital H A T E (LOL)

Several inaccuracies in your comments about the 916 and 914-6 production.
916s were built on 914-6 chassis not 914-4 (production numbers 131 0433 through 131 0442) 916s where built by Karrosserie Baur of Stuttgart 914-6s received their VIN stamp at Porsche in the order they were completed. Karmann stamped the production number in the rear trunk before they were painted.  |
