In the process of wrapping up replacing all the vacuum lines on my 73 2.0. I went by a combination of the 73 and 74 diagrams on Bowlsby’s site. But looking at this one some of the lengths seem long compared to what was in the car and fit without having a bunch left over. The three 36” lengths make no sense to me.

Length has no effect on the vacuum/air/fuel flow. You want the lines long enough for smooth bends and easy routing.
Like we say with electrical wires; it's easy to make them shorter, not so much making them longer... |
