Does anyone know how best to disassemble the plastic cap off the back of the turn signal housing? I see 4 tabs but there’s not much to get ahold of here.

Yes 4 tabs (POT METAL). They may or may NOT break. Wedging small screw driver may get the job done.

I don't mess with that connector. I would look for a newer housing versus trying to disassemble the connector.

Why are you trying to take it apart?

It was actually not as bad as I thought it would be. I pushed all four tabs outward and then used a small screw driver to pry up the cap just a little bit at a time going around the entire base. This took a bit of time/patience but it came off without incident. I wanted to remove it because there was a small screw lodged down below the contact points. This will make restoring these a lot easier now. Thanks for the suggestions/help.
