Hello, has anybody changed the windshield on their 914?

Twice. I used 2 long 2x2 with big cloth feet on each end. Park it in the sun and wedge the 2x2's (placed equidistant) between the windshield and the back of the cabin. Don't wedge it too tightly. Roll up the windows and let it sit for and hour or 2. Then check that the 2x2's have loosened a bit. If so, reposition the 2x2's so that they fit tight again. Rinse & repeat. It takes 2-3 repositioning before the windshield begins to free itself from the butyl tape. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) ps, It's easier than it sounds.

That's a neat way to do it, just let pressure, time and heat work for you. I've always cut, scraped, wired etc.
