The stock hasn't been this low in a long long time.

Is this related to the cars being too expensive now? They seem to do this in cycles. They usually rebound later.

I've already lost boatloads of money owning seven Porsches over the years. I don't need to lose more by gambling on their stock price (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

Yeah Porsche ran full-speed away from their core market of fanatical customers. I think all the dealership shenanigans with allocation favoritism and huge added markups really hurt / is hurting badly, along with the lack of EV model sales.

In terms of stock performance though, compare that graph to Tesla... wild

Well, clearly the tariff-tax that Americans pay on imported cars/goods is negatively impacting American sales/profitability. This seems like it will only get worse this year.

So, with that said, don't think it's the time to "invest" in Porsche YMMV. And that's in spite of the fact that we've been enamored with Porsche cars for decades and decades. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

If they are not careful, they will be joining Jaguar in the cemetery of once-great car companies. Never thought it would come to this.

We have a dealer here in Madison WI. At any given moment they have about one sports car on the lot.

This might be the year to invest. I bought a bunch after Dieselgate, it more than doubled in value within a few years. Porsche has held the title "Most Profitable Car Company" and they probably will do it again.

Hi guys,
you should know better whats the best alternative to buying Porsche stocks is.
Buy parts as much as you can !
The supply situation will deteriorate so drastically over the next few years that Porsche parts could be weighed against gold.
Here in Europe, companies are going bankrupt right now—especially automotive suppliers, thanks to tax wars and energy prices.
Besides that, I'm pretty much sure, that the company Porsche will not survive this century in its actual form.
Sad but delivered exactly as ordered ...

Porsche didn’t survive this century as a manufacturer of sports cars only. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/stirthepot.gif)

I've never seen most cars attainable by normies as investments, but there's definitely a reason certain models are increasing or holding strong. Now that apparently the cheapest entry-level new Porsche is >$100K in the US it's just pushing the used market higher.

The EV customer base may solidify for Porsche to some extent but the competition is even fiercer now with China and Korea playing hard. I thought seriously about a Taycan for about 2.5 seconds before I got my Tesla -- no way could I justify paying at least 50% more for lower performance, faster depreciation, less advanced tech and less reliability. Hopefully they've upped their game with the new Macan EV and going forward.
