Mine are all crushed, and in any case it looks like they weren't the original ones. I'm not going to be ordering them from AA obviously, so I will probably need to make my own. Anyone have the proper dimensions? Looks like the ones I took off were made from slicing something like rubber (fuel?) hose, which is what I might try if I find more or less the right diameter/thickness. ID is probably 6mm. TIA

LOL! I can absolutely imagine ordering them from AA and getting some randomly cut pieces of fuel line at $4.77 a piece, $12 handling fee and $20 ship.

914Rubber has them, and probably quite a bit less for the whole set than for each AA piece.

Well again, ordering from the US is just out of the question because of shipping costs... So fuel hose it is. All I really need is a height. somewhere around 8mm?

The item pictured on the 914Rubber site looks huge in diameter... If I copy the image and scale it so that the hole is 5mm (a 5mm bolt goes through it) the OD is like 21mm...

Attached Image

AA's image looks more like 16mm

Yes sadly true ,seems to be the way they roll or bankroll (lol) I would think they lose a lot of business for that reason ?
I have a packet of genuine ones part 914-559-127-10 ,got them from Stoddard a long time ago ,they are a hard rubber ,almost plastic like.
15 mm x 7 mm ,the centre hole is 4.5 mm so they are a tight fit with a 5mm bolt which makes sense as it holds them in place, cheers.

Years ago I started using these O size faucet washers. Cheap readily available and they work just fine

So I went the sliced fuel hose route for now, until I can find something better.

They aren't absolutely perfectly even - they would have been if the bit of hose I had was straight, but unfortunately it had a slight bend to it - but they're rubber and will compress anyway. 6mm ID, 13mm OD. I went with a 7.5mm target height. It was a $0, right-now solution which seems to work fine.
