Has anyone recently purchased the Porsche OEM wiper blades (914-628-311-10)? I see some related threads, but they are a few years old. I'm curious if they fit the narrow (7 mm) wiper arms. Since these appear to come from Porsche, the vendors don't usually have them on hand to verify.

I currently have Trico EF330's on the car, they come with 3 clip clip adapters including one for 7mm arms. Also have a pair of Trico RD33's, comes with two clips including one for 7mm. They were about $6-7 each IIRC. Not sure of their availability in the US though.

I haven’t tried the new blades from Porsche but if you can’t find the Trico blades mentioned above, you can buy adapters for current blades that take up the gap and make them fit correctly on the 914 wiper arm. I want to say it was some bus guys that were selling them. I bought a set and they work perfectly and of course can be reused.

Save yourself a big headache and swap out the clips with your existing ones. See the below thread starting at Post #41 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?sho...54014&st=40 |
