Hello 914 Hivemind!

I have purchased everything I need to add/wire up a combo gage for my 75 1.8. I am going to run the wires this weekend. I found the wires in / on the center tunnel for the console gauges, running the wire from the green / black wire from the console to the gauge is straight forward.

Where in the engine compartment do I connect the wire from the motor/sending unit to the 'other end' of the wire in the center console? I read that the harness is somewhere over by the battery tray/computer. I haven't dug into it too deeply yet, but I was wondering if I should be looking for a big terminal plug or if it's just a single clear (yellowed) wire joint plug like what I'm seeing in the console?

Thank you!
Ted
