Hi, I am ordering a set of custom wheels and want to use A factory center cap. Anyone have an idea of what the center for the wheel should be.
Thanks, Ed

Hey Mark
I am looking for aluminum Porsche center caps that came on the Fuchs wheels. I am having a set of wheels manufacturer for me in Europe, I’m trying to figure out what size to bore the center hole so I can polish and use original center cups.

60mm is what I measure on both a set of real Fuch 4 lug and clone copy 5 lugs.

There may be differences I'm not aware of.

4 or 5 bolt Fuchs?

There are two different sizes of 5 bolt center caps. (Early and late)

Thank you so much, this is great. I think I will go for the larger diameter since I’m going to run a larger wheel. Thanks for the effort.

Don't choose that way...

If you have the ability to order what you want, I'd order the more popular size in caps.

You also should check with your wheel manufacture, if one of the sizes is "standard"

changing size might create an upcharge.

I would want to "see" both sizes so a bit of image manipulation might be worth it.

One of the sizes (smaller) also fits 4 lug caps which are different than 911.

I have a question as well. @brant

What denotes early vs late for 911 wheels?

Would have to do a little research

Old caps were 3 prong as pictured above

Put new tires on my 7x15 Fuchs today, measured the cap lip inside, it was 71mm.
