You are right that six snorkels point right, but so do a few early 911 snorkels. What really makes this obviously a 911 snorkel is the fitting at the bottom end of the snorkel. I believe that this is a heated air intake for the MFI system. The 914-6 snorkels was smooth with no fittings
There are some other more subtle differences but this box /snorkel could be used on a six. The heat fitting is riveted to the snorkel and could be removed. From there it would look ok to the casual observer |
